Queen Anne's Lace
Queen Anne's Lace, a member of the Parsley Family, has lacy, flat topped clusters of tiny cream-white flowers with one dark floret at the center of the umbel. Queen Anne's Lace is found through-out North America in dry fields and wastelands and blooms from May to October. Growing to a height of three feet, this attractive biennial is considered a bothersome weed. Queen Anne's Lace is an ancestor of the carrot and its long first year taproot may be cooked and eaten.
